NICOP renewal Documents required 

The documents requirement for NICOP / SNICOP may vary and depends on different situation of each case. This article will explain what documents are required for a New NICOP and for renewal of a NICOP.  

                                           

  New NICOP supporting documents

Minor's NICOP (Documents required for NICOP for child or new born baby)

  

1.  Birth Certificate of minor (which should contain the name of both parents father & mother)

OR

S-1 Form issued by the Pakistan Mission

OR

Citizenship Certificate

                                                       OR     

Pakistani passport (valid/expired).

 

 

2. Foreign or Pakistani Passport of minor or his/her  Resident card/PR card/Travel Document (Three) years exemption of passport for minor born in foreign country.

 

3.     Color scanned copy of CNIC/NICOP of parent of minor or in alternatively of Siblings (which should not be minors) or of Grandparents.

 

4.     Marriage Certificate of parents of minor

Adult's NICOP - (Documents required for NICOP for applicants above 18 years of age)

 

 

1. Birth Certificate of adult (containing name of  father as well as mother)

OR

A/ O level certificate 

OR 

Matriculation Certificate 

OR 

Manual National Identity Card

OR 

Domicile Certificate

OR 

Citizenship Certificate 

OR 

Any Passport as birth and parentage proof

(if Pakistani Passport invalid/expired, it may be taken as birth/nationality proof)

 

 

2.     Color scanned copy of CNIC/NICOP of Parents/sibling/paternal or maternal grandparents. 

OR

Undertaking with two witnesses along with scanned images of CNIC/NICOP, Foreign passport/Resident Card of witnesses.

 

 

 

3.     Pakistani/Foreign Passport of Adult applicant

OR 

Resident Permit 

OR 

Work Permit 

OR 

Permanent Resident (PR) Card 

OR

Sojourn

OR

Travel document

OR

Undertaking dully verified by two witnesses

 

 

4.     If Married, Nikah Nama of adult

OR

Marriage certificate

OR

Affidavit Attested by Pakistan Mission/Notarized by local attorney.

 

 

 

NICOP Renewal Documents required

                                         

If you are applying from Single National Country other than (Australia, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, France, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Netherland (Holland), New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, United Kingdom, United State of America, Bahrain, Finland, Denmark, Germany*, Norway) Note: In case of Germany, specific group of only children born from Pakistani parent and grown up in Germany. Following documents may be required

 

 

1.     Pakistani Passport 

OR

if it is not available then Undertaking duly filled and attested by two witnesses is required.

 

If you are applying from any of dual national country (Australia, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, France, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Netherland (Holland), New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, United Kingdom, United State of America, Bahrain, Finland, Denmark, Germany*, Norway). Note: In case of Germany, specific group of only children born from Pakistani parent and grown up in Germany.

 

1.     Foreign/Pakistani Passport

OR

if it is not available then Undertaking (by the name NICOP without passport) duly filled and attested by Pak Mission is required.

 

(ID Card scanned image (NICOP/CNIC) is required for renewal of NICOP---not sure where to fit)

Be noted, when applying in renewal category, none will be updated except photo.
