This article will explain the difference between CRC (Child Registration Certificate) and JV (Juvenile Card). Though both the documents Juvenile Card as well as Child Registration Certificate are the products of NADRA and are the identification documents for children below 18 years of age but still there are few differences between Juvenile Card and CRC.

 

The differences and features of Juvenile Card and CRC are as under:-

CRC is an identification document, which contains information of all the children of a family who whose ages are below 18 years just in just one CRC.

Juvenile Card is also an identification document but it contains the information of just one child whose age is below 18 years.

 

If there are more than one child below the age of 18 years in a family, each child can be issued Juvenile card separately.

CRC contains the information like name of child, Identity number,  father name, mother name,  date of birth, place of birth, disability of child etc without any Photograph of any child.

Juvenile Card contains the information like name, father name,  Identity number, date of birth etc along-with Photograph of child

CRC is not Chip-based Certificate

Juvenile Card is Chip-based card

4.

Though, CRC can be produced to prove the identity of any or all the children mentioned in CRC but some departments/institution may not accept only CRC rather demand Juvenile Card.

Juvenile Card is more acceptable by department/ institution as compare to CRC.

CRC is printed on paper of usually A4 size.

Juvenile Card is printed on Card (hard type)
