Checking vote by SMS is very much
easy and simple way. Following is the process, you can do to get the
information about your vote, voting area and much other information detailed
below:-
Procedure to Check Vote details
- Write your CNIC Number without hyphen like this (3740154545458)
- Sent SMS to “8300”
- You will receive an automated reply showing vote details like Shumariati Block Code, Silsila Number, Gharana number, Intekhabi Ilaqa, Daftar along with Helpline number and website link of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

When you will send CNIC number to 8300 in
the manner provided above, following type of SMS will be sent to you in reply.
Why it is necessary to be updated with voting details?
If you are a registered voter in a certain
Union Council and in the upcoming elections, you intend to vote any
specific candidate from your own Union Council but if your vote is shifted from
your Union Council to any other Union Council, in such situation, you will not
be able to vote the candidate of your choice from your own Union Council, which
is not good.

Therefore, you should keep yourself updated that in which area/Union Council your vote is so that in case of shifting of your vote from one union council to other, you would make arrangement for shifting your vote back to your own area/ Union Council, enabling you to vote the candidate of your own choice.
