FRC Not to apply online - Feb 2024

FRC online for family members only 

 

Earlier, everyone was able to apply for an FRC (Family Registration Certificate) on behalf of his own family or even any other family, from any account created on https://id.nadra.gov.pk. 

They just need to the put the information of all the family members, their ID Card Numbers, their relations with each other, the Photo of main applicant and the photos of all the minors existing in family. In those days, even signatures or thumb impressions of any family member was also not required. Just the fee of amount of Rs. 1000/-was required to be paid online and nothing else. 

After that, surely keeping in view the privacy and security of citizens of Pakistan, NADRA made it mandatory to upload Data Acquisition Form for FRC / Finger Print Form with the signature / thumb impressions of main applicant.   

After making mandatory the uploading of data acquisition form, NADRA has now limited the access for applying online for FRC on behalf of any person out of his family. Now just family member can apply for a FRC of his own family. 

Currently, if someone out of family, tries to apply for a FRC of any other family online and he puts the ID Card number of family member and date of issue, following error will appear, and system will not proceed further for applying for the FRC.

FAQs

Is it still possible to apply for FRC of any other family?

Yes, but for that you need to create account of any family member of that particular family by obtaining his biometrics and then you can apply for that family.

How does NADRA detect that the account holder is not the family member of that family for which FRC is being applied?

Currently, NADRA obtains biometrics of each NADRA Account, with the help of that biometrics of account holder, NADRA can easily verify applicant and his relation with the person being main applicant of FRC.
